A six-member Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF) delegation, headed by Deputy Commander RSNF, Rear Admiral Mohammed Bin Abdlrahman Alghuraybi, visited Naval Headquarters, Islamabad and called on Vice Chief of the Naval Staff (VCNS), Vice Admiral Ovais Ahmed Bilgrami. Upon arrival at Naval Headquarters, the delegation was received by VCNS.
During the meeting, matters pertaining to common interest, regional maritime security, naval collaboration, bilateral exercises and training opportunities were discussed. The delegation was also given a detailed briefing on the roles and tasks of Pakistan Navy. Deputy Commander RSNF appreciated the Pakistan Navy’s efforts and commitment in support of collaborative maritime security in the region. Besides, the delegation also visited different Pakistan Navy units and installations.
Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) enjoy brotherly relations and navies of both countries cooperate in maritime domain particularly in the field of training. The visit of RSNF delegation will enhance the bilateral collaboration between the two countries.
