Chief of Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN), Admiral Tan Sri Abdul Rehman Bin Ayob visited Pakistan and called on Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Admiral Naveed Ashraf. During the meeting, matters of mutual interest including bilateral collaborations, enhanced interoperability, and regional maritime security, were discussed. RMN Chief also visited Pakistan Navy (PN) Units and installations. During the visit to the Headquarter Coastal Command, RMN Chief called on Commander Coast, Vice Admiral Raja Rab Nawaz. The RMN Chief also called on Commander Pakistan Fleet, Vice Admiral Muhammad Faisal Abbasi and Commander Karachi, Rear Admiral Muhammad Saleem at respective headquarters. During the meetings, matters of common objectives and bilateral cooperation were deliberated.
Later, RMN Chief also visited Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works, where he was briefed on ship building and repair facilities and various under construction PN projects.
Visit of RMN Chief will further augment bilateral relations between two countries in general and both Navies in particular.
