In an exciting development in space exploration, Pakistan and China have joined forces for a mission to the Moon. This lunar space mission is called the Chang’e-6. To explore the surface of the moon, Pakistan sent a satellite that’s so small that it could fit in a backpack! This mini-marvel, known as the ICUBE-Q, was built by Pakistani and Chinese students at the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO). Attached to the Chang’e-6, this satellite is equipped with cameras to take pictures of the moon's surface and sensors to measure its magnetic field. It’s the world’s first Nano-satellite to travel into deep space exploration. This space mission collaboration symbolizes mutual trust between Pakistan and China.  
ICUBE-Q has sent back amazing data and images from the moon's far side, a part rarely seen from Earth. These pictures showed us the moon's rough and rocky surface, with craters formed by ancient impacts. The data from ICUBE-Q also helped scientists learn more about the moon's magnetic field, which helps protect it from harmful radiation from the sun.
