Pakistan Air Force (PAF) C-130 Hercules aircraft carrying members of Search and Rescue team and blankets from PAF Base, Nur Khan landed in Turkiye on February 7, 2023. The PAF aircraft was carrying relief goods donated by the people of Pakistan for the earthquake-affected brethren of Turkiye. The transport fleet of PAF has always been at the forefront to respond to natural disasters and calamities, both inland and abroad.

On the directives of Government of Pakistan, a second PAF C-130 aircraft carrying tents, blankets and essential items from PAF Base, Lahore reached Turkiye on February 08, 2023. The C-130 Hercules aircraft was carrying 18634 pounds of humanitarian assistance relief goods from people of the Pakistan. PAF made all out efforts to repatriate the stranded Pakistani students in Turkiye in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) and Pakistan’s Embassy in Turkiye.
An IL-78 aircraft of PAF carrying the third batch of relief goods from PAF Base, Lahore reached Adana, Turkiye on February 11, 2023. The Ilyushin-78 aircraft carried 16.5 tons of humanitarian assistance relief goods from people of Pakistan for the earthquake-affected brethren of Turkiye.
