The Unbeatable National Champion Aims to Join Pak Army One Day

At the 10th International Women Day celebrated by Adventure Club Pakistan, Nazia Perveen, the rock climbing national champion again bagged two positions in the Rock Climbing Championship; 1st in 18 years plus category and 1st in the open challenge. She received the ‘Best Player Award’ for last 10 Women Day competitions out of which she has won three. It is her 32nd consecutive victory and her best time in the competition remained 17 and 33 seconds. Perveen, who is also an employee of ISPR, belongs to Bajaur Agency of Federally Administered Tribal Areas. Her father, Gul Zamir Khan is a proud soldier of Pakistan Army and highly supportive of her passion for sports; one of the many reasons why she wants to follow in his footsteps and join the Army. While taking to Hilal, she said “Besides my parents and friends, ISPR has encouraged me to pursue my passion and not to give up on my dreams. This backup and support by my organization is a key factor in my seccess.”
