The passing-out parade for cadets from the 148^th Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Long Course, 67^th Integrated Course, 35^th Technical Graduate Course, and 22nd Lady Cadet Course took place at PMA Kakul on October 21, 2023. Graduates included cadets from Iraq, the Maldives, Nepal, Palestine, Qatar, Sri Lanka, and Yemen.

The Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Admiral Naveed Ashraf, NI (M), TBt, was the chief guest for the event. The Chief Guest reviewed the parade and presented awards to distinguished cadets. The prestigious Sword of Honor was bestowed upon Academy Senior Under Officer Muhammad Abdur Rehman Awan of the 148^th PMA Long Course, the President’s Gold Medal was awarded to Battalion Senior Under Officer Muhammad Hamza Khalid of the 148^th PMA Long Course, the Chairman Joint Chiefs of the Staff Committee Overseas Gold Medal went to Battalion Senior Under Officer Shreejan Baniya of the 148^th PMA Long Course from Nepal, the Commandant’s Cane was presented to Course Under Officer Muhammad Najam Azam of the 67^th Integrated Course, and Course Under Officer Fareeha Kainaat Arif of the 22^nd Lady Cadet Course received the Chief of the Army Staff Cane.

Commander of the Sri Lankan Army, Lieutenant General H. L. V. M. Liyanage, RWP, RSP, NDU, also graced the occasion as the Guest of Honor.
