COAS Visits Various Corps Headquarters as a Farewell Visit

As part of the farewell visits, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited various corps headquarters, Army Air Defense Command, Army Medical Corps setups, Lahore Garrison and Pakistan Military Academy (PMA), Kakul.

While interacting with the officers and men of the various formations, COAS appreciated the efforts of the officers and men in the defense of the motherland. He advised them to remain focused on their professional and training activities to face any eventuality in the future. He appreciated the formation for its achievements in operational, training and administrative domains. “Our shuhada are our pride who have sacrificed their lives for the peace and prosperity of the country and we will leave no stone unturned to maintain this.”, said COAS.

COAS inaugurated Lahore Garrison Institute for Special Education and visited various school facilities for special children. He also inaugurated state-of-the-art Hockey Arena, where he interacted with veteran hockey legends. He said that the youth of Pakistan is our asset and such facilities are a must to provide them an enabling environment to achieve excellence in sports.
COAS appreciated the efforts of Army Medical Corps which is providing quality healthcare and state-of-the-art rehabilitation services to members of the armed forces, their families and civilian patients.

COAS appreciated the training standards, operational preparedness and high morale of officers and troops. He directed troops to keep serving the nation with traditional zeal and passion under all circumstances.
